This may be highly uninteresting to some, but to fulfill my promise to my dear friend Cara, here goes a little bit about me.

10. Thoughts first waking up: Why is Addison so happy so early in the morning? so early.
11. Last time you cried: a couple of months ago, probably. that little baby made me cry a lot for her first 3-4 months
12. Song title that currently says how you feel: God has smiled on me
13. What is the perfect day for you: coffee in the morning while Addie plays, time with Andy, maybe walking or a quick shopping trip where Addison is happy and not fussy, maybe top the night off with a dinner date with my super-cute hubby. that would be a good day
14. Ever been asked for an autograph? I'm sure it will happen someday.
15. How do you vent anger? clean my house. Maybe I should be angry more often!
16. Who do you talk to most on the phone? mom and sister...sometimes an embarrasing number of times per day
17. As a kid, were you a lego builder? No, but I was very envious of boys with transformers. I wanted one so bad. I'm sure there's money in Transformers for girls if anyone is looking for a business venture.
18. Do you chew on your straws? Nope. It kinda grosses me out.
19. Do you sing in the shower? No, but I do sometimes in the car.
20. Who's the last person you stayed up late talking to on the phone to? Kerri-Lynn. She is a dear friend and we don't talk on the phone often these days, but when we do, watch out! It'll be awhile.

22. Do you cry at weddings? No. Like my sister, my husband says that I have a coal where my heart should be.
23. Are you afraid of the dark? Not really.
24. What are you addicted to? Gilmore Girls. I started watching it when I started breastfeeding and I can't seem to stop. I would watch it all day if I had it on DVD.
25. Crunchy or creamy peanut butter? Creamy.
26. Who do you fight with the most? my dog. she gets on my nerves a lot.
27. Who can you tell anything to? Andy, my sister
28. Who can't you get enough of? Andy, Addie, my niece and nephew
29. Who makes you laugh the most? Addison...that girl is developing quite the personality.
30. What is the worst feeling ever? hurting someone's feelings; stubbing your toe or bending your fingernails backwards

32. How many rings before you answer your phone? As many as it takes to find the phone
33. How many times do you press the "snooze" button? None. Addison doesn't have a snooze button.
34. How do you sleep? on my stomach
35. Last time you laughed: this morning as Addison was slapping Andy on the back of the legs while he brushed his teeth.

Batteries confuse me

I'm embarrassed to say that I haven't blogged because I couldn't put the pix from my camera onto my computer. I consider myself a fairly intelligent person, and since there was a little green light on my camera that was still on, I didn't think that it was the batteries. Long story short, all I needed to do was change the batteries. There goes that idea of me being smart...out the window it goes. (And a little shout-out to my friend Cara. I haven't forgotten that you tagged me. I'm working on it.)

So, here are a few picture updates that have been waiting patiently on my battery-dead camera.

Our long-lost friends Chris and Lauren are finally back in Texas. They may not be sure if that is a good thing, but we sure are glad!


Andy had shoulder surgery two weeks ago from an old high school football injury. He is surprisingly NOT milking it for all it's worth. Addison is missing being held by daddy, but she is very interested in his large 'contraption' keeping his arm in place.



This is why we are so glad that the changing table has a strap!



This is what happens when Addison is left to her own devices. She was still very happy and kicking her legs like she was really pleased with herself!


Addie's new favorite way to sleep...rear up and hands tucked under her tummy. So cute I could eat her up!

A little giggle

Well, I gave up trying to post to Blogger. But, here is my alternative! Thanks for the tips.

This is officially the sweetest sound in the whole world...no kidding. I hope this brightens your day as much as it did ours. We're not sure exactly why she is laughing at our big brown dog, but we do know that Addie and Lucy are sure to be good friends.
