As it was pointed out to me by some of my dear friends, I am sorely overdue for a new post! So sorry. I have been busy...I'm not sure what exactly I have been doing, but busy anyway!
AJ update:
We got a phone call from the geneticist last week and all of her test results came back normal! It was a relief to hear, although it was just a confirmation of what all the doctors and nurses told us. And, after cutting a tooth for a week, she finally has her third tooth. Those eye teeth are stinkers. Crawling is no longer sufficient for this girl. She will cruise on anything and push anything around the room. She continues to rearrange my kitchen and will push anything that is not bolted down. She will be walking any day now.
Andy update:
After a long rehab from shoulder surgery, Andy is finally finished with physical therapy. He is back to running, and all of the other fun things he does to train for work. (And he has started several new projects around the house!)
Lisa update:
I will finish up my part-time job with the schools tomorrow, and will continue that in the fall. For this summer, I got a job at the hospital working with outpatient rehab, mostly. I am excited, and will have to put on my thinkin' cap to learn all the new things that come with a new job!
buckle your seat belts, cause here come the pix!
Addison showing off her pretty dress and her fun walker.
It was bound to happen. Addie found the dog crate, or as Andy fondly calls it "the baby cage."
A couple of weekends ago we made the trip to Allen to visit my sister, her hubby and the cousins. It was Laura's 30th birthday (for some reason, I didn't take any pictures of the party...sorry, sister.) Here are a few pix from our trip to the botanical gardens in Fort Worth.
Laura and Kiera in the rose gardens.
Addison and daddy in the rose garden.
Pretty flowers!
Yummy grass.
Cleaning up with Kiera after a long day!
Laura and Kril couldn't stay away, so they came to see us the next weekend.
This is the best pix we could get of a 10 month old and 20 month old in the same place at the same time. Trust me, we tried.
Addison's new clapping skills.
she is a smart girl. She has learned how to crawl in a dress. It looks something like this...
And, this is her first time, on record, to get in trouble. The weekend before, cousin Kiera taught our sweet, innocent baby this wonderful trick.
and this is how the toilet paper looked for the rest of the week, until it was all gone.
this is the way my kitchen looked when I walked back into the kitchen after taking some clothes to my bedroom. I keep moving the chairs back, and they keep migrating toward the french doors.
And, last but not least, the cheapest toys are the best. this girl loves oatmeal, AND the oatmeal container. what fun!
I can't believe this girl is already 10 months old! She is such a joy!
